The survey results were clear. The strong consensus among respondents has guided us to two key decisions for the 2025 season.
- Seat saving will continue to be permitted in the bleachers.
Only 25% of season ticket holders want to ban seat-saving in the bleachers. That’s a decisive result. We’ll continue our general admission, first-come, first-served policy in the metal bleachers. This way, you can still save seats for friends and family without any changes to your usual game day routine.
- New in 2025: Season Ticket Holders can reserve blue chairback seats.
The survey showed that the vast majority (71%) of season ticket holders support the option to reserve blue chairback seats for the entire season. In response, we are excited to introduce this on a trial basis for 2025. For the first time ever, you can reserve your dedicated blue chairback at TowneBank Stadium for just $30 per seat for the entire season (including potential playoff games). This offer is exclusively available for 2025 season ticket holders and reflects our commitment to enhancing the game day experience of our most loyal fans.

- No, chairbacks are only available as an optional add-on to your season tickets. At the time of your purchase, you must enter your Season Ticket Order Confirmation Number, and we will match those transactions to ensure that only season ticket holders have chairbacks. Any chairback purchases for non-season ticket holders will be voided and are non-refundable.
Who can reserve a chairback seat?
- Only 2025 Lionsbridge FC season ticket holders are eligible to reserve a blue chairback seat, guaranteeing a dedicated, comfortable spot for every game.
- This is open to both season ticket jersey and wristband holders.
When and how can I reserve a chairback seat?
- Fans who have already ordered their 2025 season tickets or purchase them before November 17 will have first access to choose their seats on the seating chart until November 20.
- Reservations open at 7 PM on Sunday, November 17 for 2025 season ticket holders on this password-protected site: https://app.soccerstub.com/events/lionsbridge-STH (Password: Ch3sap3ake). Note: This site is ONLY for 2025 Season Ticket Holders.
- Each season ticket purchased unlocks the option to reserve one chairback seat for the entire season (e.g., one season ticket means the opportunity to reserve one chairback, two season tickets mean the opportunity to reserve two seats).
- Have your season ticket order confirmation number ready; you’ll need it at checkout.
What if I don’t reserve a chairback seat?
- No problem—this offer is optional! Your season ticket still grants you general admission access to sit anywhere in the metal bleachers or enjoy the Festival Area.
How do I prove that I have a reserved chairback seat?
- Keep a copy of your purchase confirmation on your phone (email, Apple Wallet, or Google Wallet). Uniformed RMC event personnel will be stationed in the chairback sections (E, F and G) throughout the game to assist you.
What happens if I buy a season ticket after the initial reservation period? Can I still reserve a chairback seat?
- Yes, absolutely! However, keep in mind that many chairback seat locations will already have been reserved. Availability is limited.
Can I switch my reserved chairback seat if I change my mind later?
- No, unfortunately, reserved chairback seats are non-refundable, and the location cannot be changed after purchase.
Are the chairback seats located in the same area as the bleachers?
- There are two distinct areas of the TowneBank Stadium grandstand: One is the blue chairback seats at midfield (sections E, F, and G). The other is the metal bleachers (sections A, B, C, D, H, I, J, and K).
Are there any additional fees associated with reserving a chairback seat?
- Yes, Newport News’ 10% admission tax will also apply.
What if I can’t attend a game? Can I transfer my reserved chairback seat to someone else?
- Yes, you can forward your chairback seat reservation to someone else.
What if the chairback sections sell out? Will there be a waitlist?
- Section F (the middle section) will go on sale first. Once that section is reserved, we’ll open up Section E. After Section E is filled, we’ll then open Section G. If Section G fills, we will be sold out of chairbacks.
How will I know which chairback seats are available for reservation?
- When you go onto the website to make your purchase, it will require you to select chairback seat locations from the seating map. Available chairbacks will be marked with a blue dot, while the unavailable seats will be marked with a black X.
